There’s a global lack of talent that’s threatening to hold the FinTech industry back. A recent study of 900 workers and employers in the UK found that 61% of companies say they’re facing a moderate to extreme FinTech-related skills shortage. And this dearth of top talent in FinTech is occuring during a period of rapid growth. This sector currently employs over 60,000 people and generates almost £7 billion a year in the UK.
